Goo Hara reveals KARA went to a nightclub in Paris

On the upcoming episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together Season 3‘, KARA‘s Goo Hara revealed a story about a time when she and her members hung out at a club in Paris, France.
The idol began, “The day before our flight back to Korea, we held a concert in Paris.”
She continued, “We were pretty exhausted from the performance, but felt it would be a shame to go back without some fun. Luckily for us, Nicole suggested that we should go to the club. Thus, we asked a tour guide where the hottest club in town was, and eventually went there ourselves!”

Big Bang to endorse Ludacris’ headphones, ‘Soul by Ludacris’

Big Bang has been named as the new endorsement models for Ludacris‘s luxury headphones line, ‘Soul by Ludacris‘.
On September 22nd, Soul & Media Group, a Korean distributor for audio equipment, announced that Big Bang will be endorsing ‘Soul by Ludacris’ in Korea.  Starting today, the products will be up for pre-order on the YG E-Shop, G-Market, 11th Street, Interpark, GS Shop, AK Mall, and others.
On September 29th, Big Bang and other top celebrities will also be attending the launch party for the brand. Big Bang also has a lot of fun promotional events lined up that fans can look forward to.

miss A‘s Min revealed some vacation pictures she explored L.A. with fellow member Suzy and f(x)‘sAmber.

On September 17th, Min tweeted, “Min and Suzy at Glendale”, “Shiny Suzy”, “Taken by future photographer SC”, “It’s a planking upgrade..called ‘air-planing’”, and “Melrose”, attaching adorable photos with each tweet.

The girls seemed like they had fun in the city, as they relaxed and took in the sights. For Amber and Min, who’ve spent considerable time away the States, it must’ve felt great to come back and revisit the culture again.

Seohyun has transformed into a stunningly elegant woman whose tastes veer towards the luxurious, as seen by her textured blouses, crimson red makeup, and sleek, pin-straight hair. SNSD’s YoonA is a sweet lady for InStyle magazine

SNSD‘s YoonA blew fans away with her feminine charms, as seen in her October pictorial for ‘InStyle‘ magazine.

The shoot took place right after the SM Town in Tokyo concert that took place earlier this month, but YoonA hardly look affected by her intense schedule. She cheekily revealed, ”It’s been awhile since I did a shoot on my own without the girls; I’m going to do an awesome shoot and brag to them later!”

YoonA put on a few different ensembles for the Instyle shoot including a sheer one-piece resembling the petals of a flower, and a ruffly, laced dress for a romantic look. She donned other outfits as well to express an image that sweet and innocent, but mature all at the same time.

In addition to her preparations for SNSD’s comeback, YoonA will also be acting in the upcoming drama, ‘Love Rain‘. Directed by PD Yoon Suk Ho, she will be acting alongside Jang Geun Suk to convey a fairytale love story.

Lee Hyori dons a purple eyeliner for CLIO pictorial

Lee Hyori‘s got jaws dropping with her latest transformation into a ‘purple goddess’ thanks to a sexy, purple eye liner.

Hyori was featured in the new CLIO 2011 Fall/Winter Season pictorial where she showed off the main attraction, ‘GELFLY EYES‘.

In this particular photoshoot, Hyori showed off her glamorous body figure as she donned a purple lace patterned dress.  Her unique purple eyeliner also complimented the entire look by transforming the idol into a fierce and sophisticated model.

Many people tend to avoid brightly colored liners because they make such a bold statement. However, this photoshoot’s main objective was to counter that fear and prove how purple eyeliners can be appealing to the eye with CLIO’s new product called ‘Gelpresso Waterproof Pencil Gel Liner‘.

The ‘Gelpresso Waterproof Pencil Gel Liner’ is essentially a pencil filled with a gel liner formula.  It’s pleasant to the touch, but also retains its easy-to-use functionality.

A marketing representative explained, “Hyori’s photoshoot had been garnering massive interest even before its release.  We believe this new project will cause a new trend … We believe people will start experimenting with this new product featured by trendsetter, Lee Hyori starting in the fall.”

Hyori’s new pictorial magazine will be released in October.  CLIO will start their ‘Gelpresso Waterproof Pencil Gel liner’ campaign along with Hyori on September 19th.

YoonA’s “Genie” costume sells for over $6,000 USD!

SNSD member YoonA stunned netizens with her star power when it was revealed that her costume for “Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)” was sold for 6,700,000 won (approximately $6,200 USD)!

On September 13th, an auction was held on MBC‘s Chuseok special program, ‘Star Auction Show‘, which hosted collectors items from various stars. The stylish costume YoonA had worn for the “Tell Me Your Wish” MV was sold at a jaw-dropping figure of 6,700,000 won.

YoonA couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the skyrocketing auction bids, as she estimated that it would only draw 2 million won, even though professionals had appraised it for 7 million won. The stylist who created the costume was surprised as well, since YoonA had worn the costume more than 10 times.

Proceeds from the auction will be donated to charities.

SNSD’s YoonA to star opposite Jang Geun Suk in ‘Love Rain’

Heads up: SNSD‘s YoonA will be taking on her newest acting role, this time opposite veteran heartthrob Jang Geun Suk, in a new drama entitled ‘Love Rain‘!

The drama, which will be broadcast next year, will be a fantasy drama about fate — specifically, about how the offspring of a previous, ill-fated couple who met in the 1970′s also manage to fall in love with each other.

Both YoonA and Jang Geun Suk will be playing two roles in the upcoming drama. “We’re taking into account YoonA’s schedule with SNSD and adjusting the schedule appropriately. All that is left is for her to sign the contract,” revealed a representative for the drama.

‘Love Rain’ will be directed by Yoon Suk Ho with the script by Oh Su Yeon, a pair that also created ‘Autumn Tale‘ and ‘Winter Sonata‘.

This will be YoonA’s third outing in a drama, following her previous castings in ‘Cinderella Man‘ and ‘You Are My Destiny‘.

SNSD‘s Jessica, Tiffany, and Yuri transformed into mature women for the October edition ofCosmopolitan magazine.

Jessica gave off a mysterious stare in her photo as she rocked a leather jacket posing as a tough biker, and Tiffany wore her hair in loose curls, dressed as a feminine, up-scale lady while Yuri looked chic showing off her ‘urban look’ with an off-the-shoulder plaid top.

Final Khuntoria episode on ‘We Got Married’, Nichkhun reflects on his marriage to Victoria

The Khuntoria couple shed tears as their marriage life came to an end.

The September 17th broadcast of MBC’s “We Got Married“, a mission to end their marriage was assigned to 2PM‘s Nichkhun and f(x)‘s Victoria and they spent their last day together as a couple.

The couple reflected on their past 456 days of memories and seemed it was difficult for them to let go.

Nichkhun held back tears as he looked back on their house saying, “Since we can still meet in the future and laugh together. I don’t want to break up crying.”

Through a video message, Nichkhun told Victoria, “I think this will be my last video message to you. I am so happy that I was able to spend the last 456 days with you. Though we fought and every once in a while you would hit me, they were all precious memories to me. Even if we’re unable to meet often in the future, be careful and think of me every once in a while. It’s not illegal, so you can think of me often. I’ve been very happy during our time together. I really enjoyed it.”

Victoria reflected back to the day she first met Nichkhun at the 63 Building. She expressed, ”I keep thinking of the past. Memories are flying past as if it was a movie reel. This really feels weird. I feel like something is pricking my heart.”

Meanwhile, during the same broadcast, David Oh and Kwon Ri Sae also shared their last day together as well.

Which artists do J.Y. Park and Yang Hyun Suk want from each others’ agencies?

J.Y. Park and Yang Hyun Suk recently participated in a fun game that had them name artists they’d scout from each others’ companies.
On September 7th, J.Y. Park and Yang Hyun Suk guested on SBS‘s ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘, during which the MC asked, “Which singers from the other agency would you like to scout?”
J.Y. Park answered, “There is one person who I would like the most,” and named 1TYM‘s Teddy. He explained, “I don’t just want him as a celebrity — I’m thinking that he would produce songs for other singers, too.” 
J.Y. Park picked Big Bang‘s Taeyang as his second choice, stating, “He’s so good at dancing and singing, so I think it’d be fun to record together.” 
Lastly, J.Y. Park stated that he would like to scout 2NE1‘s Sandara Park. He explained, “She has a strong charm about her that you can’t see in other female celebrities.”  Yang Hyun Suk replied, “Sandara Park’s nickname is ‘The girl from Mars’. She doesn’t seem like she’s from Earth. I’ve been watching her for several years, but still, every time I see her, she doesn’t seem like she’s from our planet.”
Meanwhile, Yang Hyun Suk picked 2PM‘s Nichkhun first. He explained, “Nichkhun came from overseas. He is very good-looking and cute. I like Nichkhun.” 
He then selected Wonder Girls‘ Sunye, stating, “A long time ago, J.Y. Park had an audition program. I liked Sunye since then. She was so pretty that I thought to myself that I would like to raise her.” 
Finally, the CEO of YG Entertainment chose miss A‘s Suzy, explaining, “These days, Suzy is catching my eye.”

Back in July, we reported that SNSD’s YoonA and actor Lee Min Ho were appointed to be the new exclusive models of French outdoor brand, “EIDER“. The two flew to Los Angeles in early August to participate in a photo shoot and also film a video for EIDER.
Earlier today, a preview for the upcoming video was revealed. According to the teaser, the video should be released on September 16th but in the mean time check out the teaser below!
